Symposium „Poland: A Jewish Matter" was one of the concluding events of the initiative POLSKA! YEAR, that meant to promote Polish culture in Great Britain.

At this two- day conference various aspects of contemporary Jewish life in Poland as well as the challenges in Polish - Jewish dialogue deriving from the past were discussed. Forum's President was one of the speakers in a session devoted to motives of present visits of Jews  to Poland and he talked about the significance of study trips organized by Forum in the context of improving Polish- Jewish relations.

The conference took place thanks to the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, Warsaw; the Galicia Jewish Museum, Cracow; the Institute for Polish- Jewish Studies, Oxford and the London Jewish Museum. It was an opportunity to hear from Jewish  community leaders, leading academics and activists promoting Polish- Jewish dialogue.
