On July 3-10 as a part of Polish-Jewish Exchange Program we have had priviledge to host in Poland delegation of American Jewish Committee leaders from Chicago, Seatle, Now York, Los Angeles and Wahsington D.C. chapters. They visited Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau, Belzec, Lublin, Lodz and Warszawa. The diverse program, in cooperation with the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affaires, included meetings with academic, political, cultural and religious experts i.e. Ewa Junczyk-Ziomecka, Minister in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland; Michaelam Schudrich, chief Rabbi of Poland; Zvi Rav-Ner, the Ambassador of Israel to Poland; Maciej Kozłowski, former Poland's Ambassador to Israel, Ambassador at Large for Polish-Jewish Relations and Deputy Director of the Middle East Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Our guest had also opportunity to take part in the Final Concert of 19. Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow - 'Shalom on Szeroka St.'
